When I first got a glimpse of you, my dear Hannah,
You were as a gift from God, like the Israelite's Manna.
When we go to the library to quote unquote study,
I can't help but hope that you would be my special buddy.
Darling our love is true, so ignore all the haters,
You are as sweet to me as a pack of Now and Laters.
Baby, every day with me will be a definite Fun-day,
It will be as flamboyant as our purple shirt Monday.
When I see you wear those scarves, I just want to give you a hug,
But that's only because, my dearest love, you really remind me of Doug.
