Dear Diary,

It's Friday and I'm really glad. I've been so tired this whole week. Last night, I had a dream and I'm pretty sure it was one dream that ran the whole time that I was asleep, but I don't remember what it is anymore. I hate when that happens. My first thought when I woke up was OMG Dance Gavin Dance is having a concert in my room at 7 AM...but actually it was my alarm ringtone.

Nate kept calling me the people's choice as funniest member of our radio show on campus. That was really nice of him. He's a great friend.

Doug kept humming Four Year Strong today and now I have it stuck in my head. In fact, I'm listening to them right now and wishing I could grow a beard. If only Nate weren't so stubborn, we would have the Four Year Strong CD and we could play it on the show. Or if he had been wearing waterproof clothes at Warped Tour. I'm sorry, I really shouldn't say stuff like that. He's such a great friend and he says really nice things about me like I'm the funniest person on the show.

I have a secret to share with you, diary: my friend Kyle didn't actually win homecoming queen. I told everyone on the show that he did...but he really didn't! It was soooo funny.

Why don't I have muscles as big as everyone else? I look at people like Roids Guy and Doug post-glycemic index obsession and I want to look like that. I really hope no one ever finds out that I'm insecure about stuff like that. That would be soooo embarrassing.

Well, it's Friday and tonight I'm hanging out with sorority girls (I'm so popular, LOL :-)). I have a 7 page paper that was due Monday but was extended to Tuesday at 5 PM. That was a very nice thing for the professor to do.

Nate wants me to write an entry for some thing called a blog for our radio show. He keeps bothering me about it. It's kinda like a diary, but online and everyone can read it. Wouldn't it be funny if I posted my deepest darkest thoughts on it like I do in here? LOL! That would be soooo embarrassing!!! If I did that, I would have to edit some parts out, or at least not copy all the names of my crushes scribbled in the middle of hearts at the bottom of this page! LOL! ;-)

Thanks everyone for listening on Wednesday! We keep receiving great feedback on the show, and it's a lot of fun to do. The Facebook group is up to 95 people, 50 something people have voted in the poll, and apparently people who none of us know were tuning in this week. I'm sorry we haven't updated this much yet, I'm working on Doug and Kevin (Kevin, btw, is going to make this into his personal diary...exciting!)

I'm going to do a little free advertising here...check out the band A Great Big Pile of Leaves (http://www.myspace.com/agreatbigpileofleaves). You can download their 2 ep's for free on the site. The song's "Mystery of the Brain" and "...This is a Country Song" were probably my favorite songs of the summer.

A striped polo and plaid shorts actually do match! Wear them together without worry.

The poll on the right is now worthless... Kevin and I were telling people either to a) Vote for Kevin, or b) Not vote for Kevin. Respectively, of course. You can continue to vote though, we encourage voting. Doug is the true winner.

Anticipation

Thanks for everyone that is now checking out the NaKeD show blog! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of tomorrow's show (11 o'clock pm!) because we have some sweet stuff planned (more Doug's Dating Do's and Don'ts, hitting you with some sweet jams, taking on Brian and his comparatively named "Naked Space Creatures" show, etc)


As an incentive to listen to the show, I'll give you a hint about tomorrow's "Doug's tip of the day brought to you by Nate". It's another fashion tip!

Since I haven't talked about Doug enough yet... Here's a question of the week of my own that I will pose to you, the fans. If you didn't have class til 11 o'clock in the morning, would you get up at 7 o'clock to go to breakfast every morning? Doug does. It puzzles me.

For the record

Doug cheats when he plays Madden 94 and always plays with the Dallas Cowboys. Everybody knows the Cowboys were a powerhouse in 1993-94, winning back to back Super Bowls in those years. How can you beat Emmitt Smith, one of the best running backs in the game, and Troy Aikman, John Madden's man crush? In a word, you can't.

Hey folks, we're still working on getting this blog up and running. We should be sending out Facebook fan pages tomorrow so everyone can support the show on Facebook! I got Doug online, Kevin should be able to post soon. We'll leave you our thoughts and our darkest secrets.
