A Quick Change
I would like to put on about 37 pounds. After all I’m only 50. My friend Anthony is only 60 and he can lift me up! My brother can even pick me up a little and he’s only 4! I think that if I woke up one day and I had put on only 1 pound I would praise the Lord. I would be so excited. This is weird every time I put on a pound when I weigh myself which is every day I’m back to good old 50. When I go downstairs my mom would look at me then make a face and then do what she always does; hug me. My dad however would have a fit for like an hour and then he would get over it. That’s the same thing he did when my mom got her ears pierced.
And as a bonus, here's a poem I wrote in kindergarten (I'm pretty sure I had help writing it out):
Fortunately
One day I went to a baseball game
Fortunately, I made the game.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to play.
Fortunately, I got some candy.
Unfortunately, it melted.
Fortunately, I went home.
Unfortunately, the car broke down.
Fortunately, we where near a gas station.
Unfortunately, it was closed.
Fortunately, there was a store open.
Unfortunately, it was a grocery store.
Fortunately, it was near our house.
Unfortunately, the road was icy.
Fortunately, we had ice skates.
