Doug's Top 9 Songs that he discovered in 2009

3) Just Impolite - Plushgun
2) Fireflies - Owl City (and anything else he's done)
1) Love Story - Taylor Swift

BONUS! Song that I rediscovered in 2009:

New shows etc.

New Shows

The two most recent The NaKeD Shows are now up to download. Click the date on the right sidebar. The first show was our first of Season 3 and aired 9/16/2009. The second was our Tribute to Fast Things and aired 9/23/2009. Be sure to download those for your listening pleasure. Tell your friends.

Etc.

We seldom have enough time to cover everything we want to on the show. Here are some of those things that did not fit in.

That Guy...of the Week!

This week we salute That Guy Who Invites You to Lunch but Doesn't Show Up and Leaves You to Eat by Yourself. He might think it's "no big deal," but the guy who now has to eat alone can only think that you really are That Guy of the Week!

Thanks Scott, a.k.a. Guy That Now Has to Eat by Himself

Random story that I somehow thought was related to being fast

So last night before the show I was briskly walking from Pew to the TLC for the show. I was rushing past a small hill on my right that is covered in all sorts of plants. I hear rustling in the plants and rapidly turn to see some sort of furry rodent appear as fast as lightning. I continue my quick walk, when in a flash the rodent takes a run forward right at me. I hurriedly hop backward and continue walking. The rodent hastily follows me. I acceleratedly continue giving the rodent a wide berth, and, like a bat out of hell, continued all the way into the studio for our hilarious show.

All our old shows are still archived and you can access them to the right under "In Case You Missed the Show".

Send us an email any time, leave us a comment, do something. We're pretty bored here. And be sure to tune in this Wednesday at 10pm.

So I'm a slacker

Between projects, papers, and reading Faith and Fitness and Kinetic Anatomy for my own enjoyment, I've been kinda busy/lazy and haven't posted any of the old shows. Wait no longer though, because I've just uploaded the last three shows, including The NaKeD Show goodness from all the way back in the beginning of April.

Tell all your friends.

Please.

I was such a cute little kid

So by popular demand, I'm posting the excerpt from something I wrote in 2nd grade about what I would change about myself if I could change one thing.

A Quick Change

I would like to put on about 37 pounds. After all I’m only 50. My friend Anthony is only 60 and he can lift me up! My brother can even pick me up a little and he’s only 4! I think that if I woke up one day and I had put on only 1 pound I would praise the Lord. I would be so excited. This is weird every time I put on a pound when I weigh myself which is every day I’m back to good old 50. When I go downstairs my mom would look at me then make a face and then do what she always does; hug me. My dad however would have a fit for like an hour and then he would get over it. That’s the same thing he did when my mom got her ears pierced.

And as a bonus, here's a poem I wrote in kindergarten (I'm pretty sure I had help writing it out):

Fortunately

One day I went to a baseball game

Fortunately, I made the game.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to play.

Fortunately, I got some candy.

Unfortunately, it melted.

Fortunately, I went home.

Unfortunately, the car broke down.

Fortunately, we where near a gas station.

Unfortunately, it was closed.

Fortunately, there was a store open.

Unfortunately, it was a grocery store.

Fortunately, it was near our house.

Unfortunately, the road was icy.

Fortunately, we had ice skates.

Doug's Top 8 of 200N8
